Bettina's professional journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy System Design from Appalachian State University, where her passion for environmentally sustainable practices first developed. Having fallen in love with the Appalachian Mountains, Bettina made the region her home and has remained dedicated to preserving its natural beauty and serenity.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to her first venture in sustainable farming, where she raised pigs, chickens, ducks, and vegetables—a project she intends to return to in the future. In addition to leading Clean Mountain Escapes, Bettina is a devoted mother and a leadership coach. She is deeply engaged in her community, currently serving on the Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture Board and the Boone Business Exchange Committee through the Boone Chamber of Commerce.

Bettina is a strong advocate for leadership and empowerment within her team. She prioritizes fair compensation, opportunities for growth, and fostering a positive work environment. Having built both her business and farm from the ground up, Bettina is passionate about supporting others in their entrepreneurial endeavors and helping them achieve their goals.
